I never thought I would have to fight to be on a deal. I entered banking hoping to breeze by - forget about live deals. Yet today my baby project suddenly came crying to me and with that, like a hummingbird, my wings started flapping and I started flying again, amongst drama, amongst helping winds.

Things just got blurred. Projects completely fell onto me at the same time. Higher ups argued in front of me on who I would work for. Models and pitchbooks and presentations. In the office until the wee hours of the morning, forgetting to eat, forgetting to take my eyes off the screen…

"I don’t know how I’m going to make it back to New York without a heart attack."
That was my level of excitement when I entered the private plane that was to take us from Chicago to New York. As we rose, I watched as the icy lake touched the sky; as we descended, I admired once again the glorified skyline.
Basically I had the time of my life. That and my first time ordering room service.

It’s a skype virtual baking session! 2am my time, 11pm Cali time, we bake the same recipe over Skype in two respective kitchens. However, lesson learned: when the recipe asks for rum, using tequila instead doesn’t work.
Here’s to taking the idea of keeping in touch and sharing a common passion to another level.
Here’s to matching bottles of vanilla. Or something like that.
